Manifesta 15 announces participants

Barcelona, Spain
8 September – 24 November 2024

At a press conference in April, Manifesta 15 announced its forthcoming programme and artist list, showcasing 43 participants representing diverse disciplines and global origins. Collaboratively, the Artistic Team is curating a programme that spans 16 venues and public spaces across the region. Among the 43 participants revealed, 29 will premiere freshly conceptualized works tailored specifically for Manifesta 15.

In selecting participants, Manifesta 15 prioritized individuals whose practices intersect with ecological and climate justice, community engagement, and innovative educational approaches. They will propose proactive strategies to empower local communities to actively engage with their surroundings. Among the list of participants is Hui Ye with the collective Radio Slumber, whose participation Phileas is supporting.
