Brett Littman is the director of the Isamu Noguchi Foundation and Garden Museum, New York, United States, where he has worked since 2018. Prior to this, Littman was executive director at the Drawing Center, where he worked from 2007 to 2018. He previously served as deputy director for MOMA PS1 from 2003 to 2007. He has personally curated more than 20, and overseen more than seventy-five exhibitions over the last decade dealing with visual art, outsider art, craft, design and architecture. Littman is also an art critic and lecturer, an active essayist for museum and gallery catalogues, and has written articles for a wide range of United States-based and international art, fashion, and design magazines and has been actively producing public programmes since 2010 that explore the relationships between sound and art.

Brett Littman was invited for a curatorial research trip in 2017 when he was executive director at the Drawing Center.
