Chen Tamir is working as associate curator at the Artis Contemporary in Tel Aviv, Israel. Prior to this, she was a curator at the Center for Contemporary Art in Tel Aviv, Israel. Past curated exhibitions include artists such as Ragnar Kjartansson, Agnieszka Kurant, Trevor Paglen, Wilfredo Prieto, Jon Rafman, Amie Siegel, and Christopher Kulendran Thomas. She has commissioned ambitious work by local artists such as Yael Bartana, Maya Dunietz, Michal Helfman, Ruti Sela & Maayan Amir, and Ariel Schlesinger.

Chen Tamir was invited for a curatorial research trip in 2018 when she was a curator at the Center for Contemporary Art in Tel Aviv.
