Katherine Brinson serves as Daskalopoulos Curator for Contemporary Art at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York, United States, which she joined in 2005. She has curated and co-curated numerous exhibitions at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, and the former Deutsche Guggenheim in Berlin, including Etel Adnan: Light’s New Measure (2021–22); The Hugo Boss Prize 2020: Deana Lawson, Centropy (2021); Simone Leigh (2019); Danh Vo: Take My Breath Away (2018); Anicka Yi, Life Is Cheap (2017).  She is one of the organising curators for the museum’s International Directors’ Council. She holds a BA in English literature from University of Oxford and an MA in art history from the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University.

Katherine Brinson was invited for a curatorial research trip in 2019.
