International Project Director
Kim Seungduk serves as the International Project Director at Le Consortium, Dijon, France, where she has worked since 2000. Prior to this, she worked as Associated Curator at the Collection department at the National Museum of Modern Art, Georges Pompidou Center, Paris, France from 1996 to 1998, and Project Director working on the overall public art strategy for an urban development in Doha, Qatar from 2011to 2014. She also served as Committee Member of Programming for the Palais de Tokyo in Paris from 2011 to 2017. In 2013, she curated the Korean Pavilion for the Venice Biennale. She co-curated a vast amount of travelling exhibitions, such as, for example, on Yayoi Kusama, Roberto Cuoghi, and Donald Judd. Seungdok was awarded the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the Ministry of Culture of the Government of France, in July 2022.
Kim Seungduk was invited for a curatorial research trip in 2019.
