Molly Donovan is a curator at The National Gallery of Art in Washington DC, United States, with a focus on land-based art. Since joining The National Gallery, Donovan has focussed on building the Gallery's collection of contemporary art, and fostering relationships with living artists. Recent curatorial projects include an exhibition on Rachel Whiteread (2019). In 2005, she received a fellowship from the Clark Art Institute, in Williamstown, United States. She was also responsible for the exhibition Christo and Jeanne-Claude in the Vogel Collection in Washington and San Diego and also has interests in both media art and modern sculpture. In 2010, she published a book called The Andy Goldsworthy Project with Thames and Hudson.
Molly Donovan was invited for a curatorial research trip in 2022.
