Call for grant applications for international projects in 2026

 

Phileas – The Austrian Office for Contemporary Art invites museums, biennials and art institutions to apply for grants to support international projects with Austrian and Austria-based artists in 2026. 

Over the last ten years, Phileas has provided funding to 136 projects around the world enabling the production of more than 250 new artworks.

We are now welcoming applications for projects taking place in 2026, with the following requirements:

  • Applications must be submitted by non-profit art organizations outside of Austria

  • Projects must present the work of an Austrian or Austria-based artist

  • Projects must open in 2026

  • Applications can be made until Monday September 15, 2025
