Claire Staebler has been the director at Frac des Pays de la Loire since 2022, a collecting institution based in Nantes and Carquefou. Prior to this, she worked at the Fondation Louis Vuitton from 2012-2022; at PinchukArtCentre, Kiev, from 2007 to 2009; and at Palais de Tokyo from 2004 to 2007. Past curated shows include the Busan Biennale, South Korea; No More Reality, crowd, performance and reenactment, Belgrade, Amsterdam and Istanbul; La Fabrique sonore, Expérience Pommery#9, Reims; and Transaction Abstraite, Charles Atlas, Mika Tajima at New Galerie, Paris. Additionaly, she was one of the associate curators of La Triennale 2012: Intense Proximity under artistic director Okwui Enwezor. She contributes regularly to publications specialized in contemporary art.

Claire Staebler will visit Vienna on a research trip as part of the exchange with Trampoline Association in 2024.
