Marie de Gaulejac is the new visual arts director of the 3bisf national art centre in Aix-en-Provence. Her 2025 project for the art centre will focus on restorative practices, a reflection on slowing down and reducing footprints, and co-creating exhibitions. Prior to her role at 3bisf national art centre, de Gaulejac has held the position of head of exhibitions and residency manager at the Triangle-Astérides in Marseilles from 2017 to 2024. While there, she developed a strong support for emerging French and international artists, with a notable involvement in the Marseille area and its surroundings.
Committed to developing demanding and innovative annual exhibition programmes and setting up public and discursive events, she is also involved in numerous art schools. Marie de Gaulejac works closely with artists and reflects on societal issues that affect artists and society as a whole.
Marie de Gaulejac will visit Vienna on a research trip as part of the exchange with Trampoline Association in 2024.
