Henriette Bretton-Meyer

Henriette Bretton-Meyer is a curator and author who studied History of Art in London. At the time of her visit in 2023, she was the Director of the Overgaden Institute for Contemporary Art and Curator at Kunsthal Charlottenborg in Copenhagen. In collaboration with CPH:DOX, one of the world’s leading documentary film festivals, she curated the 2019 exhibition Europa Endlos which explored themes of identity, labour, community, migration and borders. Among the exhibitions that she has (co-) curated are: Ahmet Öğüt: No Protest Lost (2017); Afgang - Mfd Degree Show (2018); Europa Endlos (2019); Jane Jin Kaisen: Community of Parting (2020); Mariam Cahn: Me As Happening (2020); and Lauvre Prouvost: Our elastic arm hold in tight through the clouds (2021).
