Ilaria Puri Purini is Curator of Programmes at the Contemporary Art Society in London, where she works across the visual arts and crafts. Interested in curatorial practices that are collaborative and experimental. Ilaria has worked with many contemporary artists in Britain and has become interested in broadening the concept of what British art means in the UK and, what it means abroad. Puri Purini worked on a number of interdisciplinary exhibitions. She is the co-curator of the exhibition Pioneers: Morris and the Bauhaus at the William Morris Gallery and worked in the curatorial departments of the Victoria & Albert Museum, Tate Modern and Scuderie del Quirinale in Rome. In her independent practice, Ilaria worked partook in artistic residencies in Italy and France. She studied at the Humboldt University in Berlin and La Sapienza University in Rome and holds a Ph.D. on the relation between dance and art in the Weimar Republic from Birkbeck University. She is a published author.

Illaria Puri Purini was invited for a curatorial research trip in 2018.
