Temperamental Spaces: an artist talk by Markus Schinwald

Phileas, Opernring 17, Vienna
Tuesday, 28 November at 6pm

Spaces can sometimes appear as idiosyncratic as the people within them, taking on characteristics we usually ascribe to ourselves. They can appear erratic, comforting, uncanny, even threatening.

Based on a seminar on the phenomenology of space that Markus Schinwald developed for Yale University, the lecture held at Opernring focussed on his spatial interventions in exhibition over the last twenty years.
